As our 88-year-old friend Bob says, “I don’t even buy green bananas anymore.” We respect that, as we age, we don’t have time to waste on stuff that doesn’t work right. Many technologies has matured and can act as servants to our needs and desires. Today’s technologies are helpmates sought by seniors to happily and independently live out their lives in the homes they know and love – without it costing them an arm and a leg.
Expect Integrity and Service
Since 1993, UCLA engineering graduate Susan Estrada has lead Aldea’s technology efforts. Our customer care program and rigorous in-lab testing means great performance with no worries. We spend a lot of time testing and retesting the technologies we recommend. We want to understand how they function and if they perform as the companies claim. We also want to know if they are too hard to use or not intuitive or require excessive support. Yes, we have tested technologies that are not up to snuff. Sometimes, we work with the companies to improve them and sometimes we just send them back.
